Services

Each and every department of the resource centre will provide specific services with regards to its services. As mention in the organizational chart each department will have a head and he/she is the responsible person to look after the departments and develop plans yearly and work for the improvement of students achievements in school. 

 The following are the services provided by the different departments from the resource centres. 

Computer Laboratory 

• Generally any of the students and staff of L.A.E.C can use the computer room facility by making a log. 
• Regular classes and extra classes can be conducted in the computer lab with the assistance of the teachers and computer lab head. 
• Conduct computer literacy programs for all the students in the school. 
• Provide short computer software and hardware courses for the registered students of L.A.E.C. 
• Provide training programs for teachers and students how to use the equipment in the computer lab. 
• Give assistance to the teachers and students in collecting information on internet and completing projects assign by the school. 

Library 

• Provide fiction and non fiction books according to the age of the students. Teachers and students can borrow books.
• Supply supplementary teachers book to assist teaching and learning. 
• Provide high speed internet facility to enhance the extra search opportunity for teachers and students. 
• Conduct library literacy programs to enhance the usage of library among the students. 
• Provide printing and scanning facilities inside the library.

Audio Visual Room 

• Provide latest technology for the teachers and students to enhance and improve the teaching and learning process. 
• Develop and provide teaching and learning resources.
• Conduct awareness programs to students about important of usage of audio visual equipment's.
• Conduct awareness programs to the staff, specially for teachers how to operate the equipment's in audio visual room and best use of it to cater the differences in students abilities. 

Teaching Aid Material Room

• Provide access to the material and resources available in the school, for the teachers and students. 
• Collect variety of resources and arrange in a way that teachers and students can get access to it. 
• Develop teaching aid materials in the school level and provide it the teachers and students. 
• Aware the teachers and students about the available resources in the teaching aid material room and how to handle them.
